About

Hi I’m Jahan,

I am a physical therapist and coach. My commitment to rehab and training was borne out of necessity as a frustrated athlete.

After a high school gym injury, I went through rehab for eight years. I worked with numerous physical therapists, chiropractors, and more. The result? I become a “rehablete”, great at performing rehab exercises but not much of anything else. I stopped playing sports. I couldn’t even perform a single pushup without pain. So much for the athletic prime of my 20’s.

Thankfully, I found coaches and physical therapists who understood training. I learned more about the complexity of pain and how to train smart. I started resistance training regularly. I even took up volleyball and train Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Overall, I’ve graduated from being a “rehablete” to being an athlete (albeit an amateur).

I write, coach, and educate about fitness, rehab, nutrition, and health. If you want help thriving again, but are struggling with an injury or pain, reach out for coaching here.
